HERE TO HELP WITH YOUR CLUTTER!

Spring is in the air, and it’s the perfect time to clear out the clutter! The Michael Kaslow Team is excited to invite our Tangletown & and surrounding area neighbors to a Spring Cleaning Community Event — and we’re here to help make it easy and meaningful.

Document Shredding

Bring any documents you’ve been hanging onto for secure shredding and disposal.

Junk Collection

Bring your old junk and unwanted items and we’ll dispose of them for you.

Recycling

Holding onto items that need recycling? Bring them to our event and we’ll make sure they’re properly recycled.

Shoe Donations

Shoe Away Hunger will be onsite collecting new and gently used shoes for those in need.

FAQs

Items like TVs, large furniture such as couches and mattresses, and large appliances cannot be collected, please read the FAQs below for items you can and cannot bring for collection.

What sort of items can I bring?
  • Paper documents to be shredded
  • Small appliances like toasters and blenders
  • Old and broken furniture
  • Household items
  • Old toys, clothing, pet items, etc.
  • Non-hazardous electronics
  • Miscellaneous clutter
  • Batteries are accepted, however, they cannot be put in the dumpsters. Please let an MKT volunteer know if you have batteries and we will direct you to a special collection bin.
Are there any items I cannot bring?

We cannot accept:

  • Oversized furniture like couches and mattresses
  • Large appliances (no microwaves, refrigerators, stoves, etc.)
  • TVs
  • Computers & Computer Monitors
  • Hazardous or Toxic materials such as paint, oil, solvents, chemicals, dirt, concrete, or flammable items
  • We CAN accept batteries, however, they cannot be put in the dumpsters. Please let an MKT volunteer know and they will direct you to our battery collection bin.
